Setting Meaningful Weight Loss Goals


Last week we mentioned that one of the roles of a hypnotist in weight loss was helping clients set meaningful weight loss goals.
Goals must be in alignment with your beliefs – an if they aren’t, well we’ll find that out in the hypnosis session and come to a resolution on that.
Goals should be specific – how much do you want to get rid of? They should be measurable – are you going to track your progress by pounds or dress sizes? They must be reasonable. Is getting to the size you were in college really  reasonable at 60? And you must set a time frame to accomplish it, or it won’t happen. For those with many pounds to shed, I prefer working in small increments to have continued success.
Most of all, think of your goals in how it will change your life. This is what will really keep you motivated!
