Caregiver Stress


Caregiver Stress is an important issue today.

I use hypnosis to guide clients to positive life transformations.  It is such a privilege and a rewarding experience for me to guide a client on his or her journey.

People come in for hypnosis for a wide variety of reasons. We all know the usual, to stop smoking, lose weight, sleep better, get rid of fears and manage pain. Many clients have more than one issue. For example, caregivers.

In some way we are all caregivers. There are paid caregivers like nurses or doctors, and teachers. There are unpaid caregivers – Family members with an aging parent or a physically challenged sibling or child. Some may have a family member diagnosed with a mental illness.

All of these instances require the caregivers to take an immediate crash course on the ins and outs of the healthcare system, estate planning, finding support services, doctors, prescriptions, government institutions. On and on it goes! All the while, caregivers have to keep the rest of their lives afloat. 

Hypnosis can assist caregivers in dealing with their own sadness, stress, sleep issues, anger, guilt and frustration. And because hypnosis  is naturally relaxing, it keeps their own batteries charged. We teach self-hypnosis to empower every client to be able to manage their own issues like stress, sleep and relaxation.

Just like on an airplane, you have to put your own oxygen mask on first before you can help anyone else. You want to provide the best care you can to your loved one, and the only way you can do that is to take care of yourself. Hypnosis is a very fast and effective way to do that.
