Acceptance

A woman recently told me that she couldn’t accept the fact that she had cancer because to her that meant giving in to it. While I can certainly see where that thought comes from, it caused me to think more deeply about it. I decided that the Friday photo from Sept 15th (http://farehypnosis.com/category/friday-photo/) was, perhaps a different way for her to examine her position.

In his book, Conversations with God, Neal Donald Walsch writes: “Acceptance of something puts you in control of it. That which you deny you cannot control, for you have said it is not there. Therefore what you deny controls you.”

Acceptance doesn’t mean that you have to stay there in that place. There is always a better thought, another choice, another way to see things.

Clients come to our Center for many many different reasons, but they do all have one thing in common: They want to talk back control of what ever it is that has brought them here – which, by the way, isn’t always what they are consciously thinking when they walk in the door!

The first step is acceptance, acknowledgement. With that the control, the empowerment, begins.

I’m Roberta Fernandez, a Board Certified Hypnotist and Certified Trainer at The FARE Hypnosis Center, helping you take back control, by unlocking the power of your mind to reach your goals of any kind.
