Relative or Absolute Truths

Absolute truths are fact based. This is a pen. Water is wet. Rocks are hard.Relative truths are opinion based and agreement based. This is what we’ve made up as fact, by society or in our own minds. Both kinds of truth are very real.
So how do you know what you believe to be a relative truth is actually true? Most go through life not questioning the majority of the beliefs we hold, yet have accepted many of these relative truths as absolute.
This can be a major source of internal stress that we are not even aware of – a disconnect between what our conscious mind has concluded to be relative and what our subconscious mind knows to be an absolute truth. The subconscious mind knows the difference. It knows if those beliefs that are keeping you stuck are even yours to begin with. So just like the leaves that are falling outside, you can let those old, worn out beliefs you cling to drop away to be composted into fertilizer for new growth. Yours!
