Stressed?

Are you feeling a little stressed? It seems like the world is right now, and I’m getting a lot of calls for people who want to know what they can do to relieve some of the stress they’re feeling. 

It might be political stress, it might be fear of getting fired, it might be paying for your groceries right now.  And the first thing I tell people is to take that deep belly breath in. It is naturally how our body calms itself, stimulating the vagus nerve under the diaphragm, where its job is to send a signal to the brain to release calming chemicals, and this is really helpful for you to do.  Five breaths in a row, five times a day, you’ll start feeling the relief.
