Mindset

People talk about mindset, but what does this really mean, and why is it important?

Simply stated, mindset is the lens that you are looking through at any given moment. Are you pessimistic or optimistic? Nervous or excited? Stressed or calm? The right mindset helps you react to the unexpected things that come along in life.

I learned how to improve my mindset years ago when I took nine months of improv classes. We learned the “Yes, And” technique to keep a scene going. In real life, this is a powerful tool. Saying “yes” acknowledges where you are in the moment. “And” propels you toward a solution. Two simple words that help you get through whatever life sends your way!

If your mind could use a reset, give me a call!
