Today let’s talk about mindfulness and the choices we make. There was a recent study that asked people how many food choices they made during the day. The average was 14, but in actuality when they tracked their choices the number was 227. They underestimated by over 200!
And that was just their food choices. It makes me wonder how many other things that were filling their lives during the day did they underestimate? So the point of this is that we need to be more mindful.
A while back I made a video about multitasking and how it is a myth. And that’s the point of this blog. Mindfulness is paying attention to what we are doing at the moment, and in doing so we increase our chances of making good choices for ourselves so that we can reach our goals.
