Hypnosis and Cleaning out your Garage

Sadie told me she was headed to Wisconsin’s 100 mile garage sale this weekend. I cannot wrap my head around that concept, but it got me thinking about the old adage “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.”

Any given item at a garage sale, let’s say a lamp shade, can be viewed as “Beautiful. I have to have that!” Or “That’s the most hideous thing I’ve ever seen. What possessed someone to buy it in the first place?”

Our minds work in the same manner. We form an opinion based upon what we’ve been taught and our experiences, and we tend to hang on to those opinions, even if they don’t serve us very well anymore.

For some issues, hypnosis is like cleaning out your garage. You can decide what to keep, what to donate and what to throw away. But the best part is that you now have room for a new perspective or idea that can serve you much better!

Give us a call and let us help you with your spring cleaning!
