We continue our series about weight loss this week, talking about triggers and habits. Habits are about 30% of most people’s issues around weight loss. They just have some pretty bad habits.
Here’s the good news. Habits are nothing but automated, thoughts, behaviors and actions. You change your thoughts often every day. So you can change those thoughts and implement new habits that are more productive.
For example, after a long day after diner, you sit down on the couch to watch tv and you think, “I need a snack while I watch TV.” Are you hungry? No, you just finished your meal. But the couch, the tv, trigger something that you’ve done for a long time. The key is breaking the routine. There are many ideas with hypnosis that we can use to help you break those old worn out routines that no longer serve you – just like we spoke about last week with old beliefs.
