Today’s Friday Photo comes from all over the United States and is a tribute to those that died from Covid-19. Franzi at franzidraws.com is the creator of today’s picture. More than 300,000 – THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND – people have died of Covid-19. Most of whom died alone, without family or friends. Hundreds of thousands more grieve their loss.
They were of all ages and colors. Republicans and Democrats. Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters, friends and colleagues.
So let’s stop the nonsense and focus on what is really important. Remember that we are ALL human beings who are loved and who should love, or at the very least show respect for others.
And don’t forget to thank the doctors, nurses, grocery workers, delivery people and the other hundreds I can’t name here for the risk they take so we have what we need.
We still have a long way to go until life regains some normalcy, but let’s make sure that as many of us gets to see that time as possible. Wear a mask. Social distance. Wash your hands. Get the vaccine when it’s available.
