Last week we talked about the subconscious mind’s ability to record everything you take in, consciously or not. You can imagine that the subconscious mind is like a computer database, storing everything in case it needs it later. Literally everything you’ve learned is stored – what you’ve felt, heard, seen, experienced.
Sometimes things that we aren’t consciously aware of are triggered by events or people around us. It can cause us to feel good, or to feel bad. And most times when this happens, you aren’t even aware of what the trigger is or where the feeling is coming from.
Hypnosis provides an opportunity to explore what that feeling is. If it’s a feeling you don’t like, it’s easy to resolve it working in the subconscious mind, because that’s where emotions and memories live.
