Stress – The Good and the Bad

Stress gets a bad rap – and for the most part, rightfully so. But there is a good kind of stress and it’s called Eustress. 
We experience eustress at various times. Like riding a roller coaster, or giving that presentation of a lifetime. Oh, that adrenaline is pumping! When the event is over, your hormones, like adrenaline and cortisol goes back to normal.
Unfortunately the stress we experience in our day to day tends to stay with us and those hormone levels stay high. And this can cause a multitude of physical and mental issues.
The answer – Take a break from work to decompress and do something enjoyable every day. Practice gratitude to remind yourself of all the good things in life.
