If you’re a smoker, you’ve probably had someone ask, “Why don’t you just stop it?” For some smoking cessation is easy, but others, well, not so much. For about 70% of you, smoking is simply a habit. The rest of you may have some emotional attachment as well.
No matter which category you are in, there’s hope! Now if you’ve been watching my blogs, you know that I cannot MAKE you do anything, so you have to really want the change. If you are trying to stop because your significant other is nagging you or your doctor says you have to, but you don’t really want to – well, save your money, because it’s not going to work. You don’t have to believe hypnosis will work, you just have to want the change.
I’m not in the one session fits all camp. It would be nice if it were so simple, or if I had a magic wand, and yes, there are occasional exceptions, but the subconscious mind tends to need some repetition, so I have a specific process to help you to stop smoking that can produce great results if you are committed!
Oh, and did you know that there’s another addictive component to cigarettes besides nicotine? 20% of each cigarette you smoke is made of sugar. So if you are smoking a pack a day, that’s about 200 hits of sugar a day. No wonder some gain weight after they quit – they eat in a way to satisfy their sugar craving. But don’t worry, I work on that too!
