Self-Confidence

Overconfidence can sometimes lead to arrogance. A lack of confidence leads to self-doubt. The natural place is to be in a state where you believe in yourself.

Here are four things you can do to create more confidence in yourself:

  1. Trust yourself. Believe that you are capable of growing, learning and accomplishing your goals.
  2. Leave your comfort zone. Trying new things will help you realize that you are capable of more than what you think you are. Small successes add up to bigger ones!
  3. Accept praise. Be comfortable with well-deserved praise, but don’t demand it. Refusing praise is not the same thing as humility.
  4. Act confident. It creates a self-fulfilling prophecy. That’s right, fake it till you make it. The greater your belief, the more likely you are to succeed.
