A viewer recently asked, what’s the difference between what you do and stage hypnosis? The big difference is intention. Stage hypnosis is for fun. In my office, we work on the many kinds of issues you’ve seen in my previous videos. You don’t have to worry about clucking like a chicken or barking like a dog 5 miles down the road!
While both my clients and stage participants are guided deep into trance, a big difference is perception. A stage hypnotists gives the illusion of control – the participant does what they are told. However if you notice, at any time, a person may not be participating – because they simply don’t want to. A stage hypnotist may reject participants because they don’t think they won’t fully cooperate.
Here at the FARE Hypnosis Center, we work with all clients who really want the change they seek. Clients are always in control of themselves – just like they are on the stage. Neither I nor the stage hypnotist can make anyone do anything they don’t want to do.
I’m Roberta Fernandez, a Board Certified Hypnotist and Certified Trainer at The FARE Hypnosis Center, located in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Let us help you take back control by unlocking the power of your mind to reach your goals of any kind.
