This is an exercise in learning that the real reward is in the journey, not necessarily in the destination. Allow for at least 15-20 minutes to do this exercise in detail.
Think of something that you really, really, really want. Imagine that it has already come to fruition. On a piece of paper, write in detail what that moment of manifestation is like. Really put yourself thereby using all of your senses. Are you with someone? Describe your surroundings. What do you see, hear, feel, taste, smell? What are you wearing? Describe in detail your emotional state and that of others if you are not alone.
Read what you’ve written every day for a month, allowing yourself to be absorbed in the details. Don’t rush it, actually imagine what you are reading. You can add details to your scenario as you go if you want.
