Diet, Food and Habits


Many people, including myself, have issues with food – eating too much or not enough . While we may be able to just stop doing a lot of other things that aren’t good for us, we HAVE to eat. 
About 30% of our problems with food revolve around habits and triggers.
The other 70% revolve around avoiding our emotions. All emotions are simply warning signs for a need or a desire that is not being met within us. Food is a common distractor for not appropriately dealing with that signal. You may continually coast through that annoying stop sign in your neighborhood, but sooner or later the odds are that you’ll pay the price in the form of a ticket or an accident if you keep ignoring it. And so it goes with eating – sooner or later we will pay the price.
