You’ve heard it before, I’m sure. “Laughter is the best medicine.” And somewhere inside of you, you know that when you laugh, you DO feel better.
When you laugh your brain stimulates the release of a chemical called dopamine. It is closely associated with your feelings of pleasure, motivation and reward. Its release is also stimulated by exercise, music, meditation and hypnosis. Oh, and a getting enough sleep is also important.
So find some time to go to a comedy club, listen to some good music, meditate, get in your workouts and get your 7-9 hours of sleep. You’ll feel better for it!
