Worry happens when you take past experiences and bring them forward into your present, and create concern around your future.
Past events do not automatically dictate future ones. Each experience you have has the opportunity to be uniquely different if you allow for it.
Worry is also a waste of energy. It cannot change the past and it does nothing to change something that has not yet taken place.
Worry is often confused for an emotion. It may create the emotion of fear, but isn’t dealt with in the same manner as an emotion. Worry is a habit of thought. And if you’ve been tuning in for a while you know that habits are thoughts you keep thinking and that you change thoughts every day.
