I want to remind you that hypnosis is a natural state of mind. You go in and out of hypnosis everyday, usually multiple times, but at least twice a day. When you go to sleep and in the morning wake up, you have to pass through the trance states.
So what you tell yourself as you are nodding off or waking up in the morning, is really important. Every night when you snuggle in and are ready to close your eyes and drift off, tell yourself something wonderful, like “I’m becoming a better friend to myself.” or “Everyday in every way it gets better and better.” Repeat in the morning just as you’re starting to wake up.
