A client from Minnetonka was late for her first visit. Turns out, that’s what she needed to see me about! She had tried everything imaginable to stop her tardiness, but nothing had worked. She was getting ready to start a new, very important job in a few weeks and she was sure to be fired if she couldn’t overcome this habit. While I can’t share the details of this one, it was connected to a pretty irrational fear that stemmed from a story she heard her mother telling when she was a little girl. Once she understood what was happening, being on time for appointments became a piece of cake. Fear often manifests in strange behaviors, and fear is one of the easiest issues to deal with in hypnosis.
